Lessons

Layman's terms (Lessons): Our lessons are designed to aid the teaching and learning experience of religious studies and philosophy students/teachers (but others may find them useful and want to buy them as well). It is intended that our lessons will be purchased by individual students/teachers who wish to review/learn about various religious and philosophical topics, or teachers who want to use these lessons in their classes (Note that permission is given for multiple copies of worksheets to be made for students where provided, but not the teaching notes). It is not expected that those purchasing these materials will then go on to make them available to others who have not bought them directly from us (for example, by emailing them to other people, or saving them to a CD ROM or USB Pen and giving them to others for use in their lessons, or passing on copies of teaching notes/worksheets for others to use etc.). Doing so would be breaking the law, be an infringement of all international copyright laws, and be contrary to the spirit in which these lessons were intended to help others, and the hard work undertaken to produce them. Thank you for your co-operation.

Legal speak (Lessons):

16. All PowerPoint presentations, teaching notes and worksheets remain the copyright of Stephen A Richards, and are published by Pelusa Media Group.
17. Any payment received by the publisher for lessons is not an indication that copyright and/or ownership of any material has been transferred to the payee.
18. All Pelusa Media Group content is made available for your own personal (including educational purposes), non-commercial use.
19. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public by any means, adapt, alter or create a derivative work of any lesson (The term 'lesson' here includes the individual elements including PowerPoint presentations, teaching notes and worksheets). PowerPoint presentations will remain password protected, and teaching notes provided in .PDF format, for this reason.
20. Permission is given for multiple copies of worksheets to be made for use with groups of students.
21. Pelusa Media Group is not to be held liable for errors, omissions, inaccuracies, delays, or interruptions in the delivery of the information.
22. Each lesson and essay has been produced using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, Microsoft Office Word 2003 and Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional (Windows). Any requirement for users to download compatible versions of PowerPoint, Word and Acrobat Reader is subject to agreement with any legal notice, disclaimer, and terms of use as indicated by Microsoft Corporation and Adobe Systems Incorporated. Pelusa Media Group has no liability without limitation in connection with the services offered by the Microsoft Corporation and Adobe Systems Incorporated.
23. Refunds will only be issued where it can be shown that technical limitations have prevented the use of these lessons, and that every reasonable effort has been made by the buyer to address this (E.g. Downloading the Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 viewer in order to view PowerPoint presentations when the buyer has an incompatible version installed on their computer). No refund will be issued for late delivery/receipt of lessons.

Privacy Policy

24. Any information you provide to the publisher will be used for the sole purpose of conducting business on www.thatreligiousstudieswebsite.com and www.thatphilosophywebsite.com.
25. Your information will not be disclosed to any third party unless we are obliged, required or permitted by law to do so.
